I just bought a snowblower, but now I'm kicking myself. I could just apply SnoAway of silicone directly to the driveway.

SnoAway spray from orchard supply. SnowOff is better but it costs more because they added the W. NO WAIT (I was JK):

A silicon or perhaps a teflon lubricant on the blower works better than any grease in that it will inhibit the snow from collecting and it will not let other things stick to it, lie grease. Grease will collect sticks, pebbles, dirt, etc. Silicone lubricant is also suggested for snow shovels. Doubt it? Check here:
http://www.spineuniverse.com/displayarticle.php/article1412.html
It is on this spine page because they want to ease impact on people's backs while shoveling.

Back to my little joke at the top, I have always thought they should make cans of stuff just relevant to what is needed, like a can of "shut-up" when we want people to be quiet (perhaps like you may want me to be), or a can of "go home" or "get away". If anything, they would be a neat novelty.

They always recommend paste wax but I found a company that sells cans of teflon spray and have been using it for the past five years. It is much more slippery and doesn't attract as much dust as grease-based products do.
