    check to make sure choke is opening and closing properly, located under air filter as a rule.

    Does it have a choke? Push it in after it warms up.

    Sounds like carbon in the plugs, either clean them or replace them.

    over heating, check the air vents on the motor, check the oil level, fill tank with fresh gas, keep it full when you store it,
