What size snowblower do I need in Massachusetts?
I have a 100' pavement driveway and we get 4-5 big snowstorms a year here in MA. We're looking at a Ariens 11.5hp 28" clearing path or should we drop back a notch to a 9hp 26" clearing path. Its about a 0 difference. Just don't want to overbuy and it takes up more room in the garage. Which size should we get and would you recommend an Ariens, Craftsman or Husquavana (something like that on the last one). Also are they easy to manuever?

I’m from Upstate N.Y. so I’m all about the snow. Make sure you get more than 5hp. The 9hp is plenty. Just make sure you get elect. start, 5+ fwd gears, 2 bkwd gears, and headlight. The Ariens 926LE is good.
