It wouldn't hurt to "turn it over " occasionally with the rope starter or starter, but with the spark plug disconnected. This will help keep the lube on the cylinder walls so the motor won't want to seize - up. I prefer to keep my eqpmt. filled with new oil and a full fuel tank containing gas stabilizer.
