Snow Blower won’t throw? What could be the problem?

I have a Honda 35 snow thrower. It runs great, but when removing snow, it just squirts the snow directly infront or to the side. It won't get the snow more than 2 feet from where I am working. What could be the problem? The auger seems to spin fast enough, and there are no obstructions in the chute. Please help!!! The snow is already here!!!

Was it assembled properly, as in did it ever work as it is supposed to? If not, you should be able to find your solution. (is it spinning in the right direction? Is the chute on properly? . . .)
If it did work, something must be either bent or blocking. These are fairly simple and you should be able to look at everything and ask if it makes sense.

Sounds like it may be spinning backward, the auger may be on in reverse.
