Ratio of oil and gas in a snowblower?
First time owner of a snowblower here although I have owned motorbikes for a while. The manual gives me ratio on oil/gas mix for 1.5 gallons and upwards with oil but the snowblower only holds .25 gallons. Whats the point of that formula?? Do you just mix that amount and then keep it in the garage?

Yes always mix it in a gascan and pour it into the snowblower as you use it. This ensures first of all that you get the correct amounts of oil and fuel mixed to provide adequate lubrication for the engine, but it also allows you to "shake up" the oil/fuel mixture before you put it into the snowblower to again, make sure you have the correct oil/fuel mixture.
If you pour oil into the fuel tank of the snowblower and then add gas to it, you have no control over the crucial "ratio" required for proper lubrication.
Always mix it in the can and store it for the next snow.
