Ratio of gas to oil in my snowblower ?
I havea newer model snow blower that is a craftsman that is just a few years old. I know the gas and oil need to be mixed togther but do not know the ratio of gas to oil and what kind of oil do I need ?
I have misplaced all the documentation.
Thank You

you can go to any Home Depot, Lowe’s or other home center and they carry andy pre mixed 2 cycle oil that you mix directly with 1, 2 or 2 1/2 gallons of gas and that mix should be enough to run in your blower. Check the ratio which should be on the cap or on the engine somewhere, may even be on the dipstick too. Mix this with gas and you are set!
You have a two stroke snow blower? Interesting. The ratio should be right on the cap. If not, find the model number and look it up on the sears parts web site. You should be able to find an on-line owner’s manual for it.
Or, you can just mix something in the range of 32:1 to 40:1, which is in the range of what most two strokes call for.
Like other post suggested try and check with sears online or ask they might have documentation for that.Another alternative is to use a product called opti -2 this is a 2 stroke oil additive that works with any ratio up to 1:50 you simply add one packet to one gallon of gas and it takes the guessing out.Not sure what other stores carry this, but i know many ace stores have them.gl
you can buy your owners manual at sears . com , it might tell you about your fuel to oil mix on line , you will need the Model and Serial number off of the snow blower , near the control panel or on the bottom of the housing
