My ariens 7hp snowblower starts but revs way out of control….the engine is newly rebuilt. any suggestions?

the model is h70 130067. it is an older ariens snowblower. the engine has been rebuilt and i am thinking it is the governer. any suggestions?

    Three basic adjustments on the carburetor, in order to try:
    1. Spring tension on the governor spring attached to the throttle.
    2. Idle screw adjustment.
    3. Fuel mixture screw adjustment.

    if it’s newly rebuil then it must have some kind of warrenty. Unless you rebuilt it yourself then maybe you need to check your work

    take it back to the repair place,
    yes its the Governor
