		<description>I expect the engine is too close to the working area (blade and housing).  The heat from the engine would likely melt the snow before it could be thrown out the side.  At best it would probably slush up and build up until it couldn&#039;t push anymore out.   </description>

		<description>If you are really intent on using your mower, maybe a high lift mulching mower blade would work. but for only a inch or so its easier to just use a snow shovel.</description>
