how to get an extention cord out of a gas powered snow thrower or blower?
I have lots of x mas lights upon my house and i was snow blowing my drive way when i accidentaly ran over an extention cord. Now it is stuck and i need help because i borowed it from my neibors and im sure there is some way that i can get the cord out. If you have any ideas or way to fix it please leave a comment i hope you wont leave any rude comments or remarks. Pardon my spelling i am in a hurry. Thank you for your help- alex

First thing before you do anything pull the spark plug wire off the spark plug.
Then pull the cover off to get at the blades.
Then it will be just a combination or unwinding it and cutting where necessary to get it out.
better get out the wire cutters and start clipping away at all the areas of the light cord you can reach once you have cut the cord into little 4 to 6 inch pieces just start the blower back up and the pieces will fly out and then get a rake and scoop up the mess ….
you will have to cut the cord. you could try to pull the pieces out with a pair of locking pliers, like vise grips. if this does not work. cut away as much of the wire as possible and aim the shoot towards a wall of something and then start up the machine. be careful because the pieces of wire will come out at a high rate of speed. Good luck
Sorry but it looks like you’ll have to buy your neighbor a new one.
Cut it out and get a new one. If you cant just pull it out by reversing the blades direction, then its got cuts and rips in it for sure.
