How do peoples’ heads get stuck/cut off in a snow blower?
Seriously now, How does the head go to ground level and into the auger?? Why can't people shut the machine down and unclog them with things like Broomsticks so they don't lose their hands?

It may seem like a strange thought, but it is simple – when you are using a snow blower, you are all bundled, possibly wearing a scarf. Just a good lean down to check something out and before you know it, the scarf is gone and yet it is still wrapped around the neck.
This isn't something that happens usually, this is a rare commodity. However, if someone's head is stuck in a snow blower, it usually comes from not paying attention or it comes from them trying to fix a mechanical problem and in lue of that they are sticking their head inside of the snow blower to see what exactly is wrong. It isn't something I would advise because any body part caught in a snow blower would be painful and could sever a limb.
They bend over to look into the machine to see what is jamming it.
