How do I unclog a newspaper from a snow blower?

I ran over my newspaper snowblowing in about 6" of snow. It is completely jammed. Any thoughts?

If you have heated porch or garage put it there until all the snow melts out of auger, by that time the paper should just about fall apart with little effort, If you don’t have a heated area to do this then you will just have to pick away at it.Make sure machine is completely off. Then disengage auger and propeller, and start working everything backwards.

remove the auger. I usually just keep pulling pieces out. until I get it all. Then tell paper boy, paper on porch, or I’ll cancel for winter.

Back your snow blower into a an area you’ve already cleared; round up as many heavy-duty extension chords you have that you can find; borrow your wife’s hair dryer (2 or more if she has them) and blow as much hot air as you can onto the frozen, binding newspaper mass around your snowblower pickup blades; and "rip away like ‘ELL!" until you can rotate the pickup blades freely. Good Luck!
