Your snowthrower should have come with a short 6' or so extension cord, if it is a push button type. Plug in at a thick three pronged into a dry wall outlet and inside housing on snowthrower end. Make sure you have fresh gas & plastic safety key is installed. Make sure you have primed engine & choke is engaged. Press away!!
It took several presses before I started mine–it's a heck of alot easier than a pull start, especialy if you have a big engine.

If there is no battery, then run an extension cord out to it and plug it in. Press start.
