Here comes the Snow?,,,,,,Again?……….?
It's snowing now!!
Another 8 to 14 inches expected Today !!! Enough already
Snowed Again
Andrew M
Snow softly drifts down,blanketing
everything it touches.A wonder-world
of white, piling up, adding inches
where one needs not. Awaiting the
shovel as temperature falls, as the
snow builds up so does our frustration.
When will this winter be over?
I keep hearing the songs of spring
always in the distance. So close
and yet so far. Even now I hear a
Blue Jay as I'm putting on boots
to shovel the walk. Wishful thinking
on my part, I suppose. Here comes
the first of many shove-lings. What comes
to mind is my snow blower, She fought a
valiant death, and is now a paper weight
in the garage Where o where is spring?
Allergies be damned. I want to see some
flowers blooming, grass turning green.
Trees popping, new buds spouting tiny
pieces of life. Snow, and more on the way.
A child's delight, an adults nightmare.
Imagination fills both young and old. As
the snow piles up, One could only dream
of that beach in the Bahamas. As the kids
man there forts with snowballs, soon I say
Soon is not quick enough for me though.

Expressive writing, such as this, knows no boundaries. It is a challenge to write, as the creator, and, a gemstone to savor as a reader. Bravo!
I don’t believe I’ve ever read one of your poems before. This is a great expression of frustration.
We’re currently getting "dusted" not sure how much will accumulate by morning.
I love

Because that’s why I love winter so much – nothing to be allergic to!! But yeah, I’ll take a few Benadryl to be able to take a walk outside without bundling up!

wow Andrew….what a delight to read you have become!!
Andrew, I am SO proud of you. Your first few lines illustrate true poetic expression. We will turn you into a poet yet.
Please continue your reading and studying on Mars. The results of your efforts are astounding. I am looking forward to seeing all your work on the forum and eventually to seeing some of your poems in our contest.
hey Andrew you are really getting your poetic mojo on with this…well done!
Another snow lament! Get over it big boy! You choose to live where it snows! lol A good read. If Elaine likes it then you know you did something right!
I can feel your snow! Thank God I live in Louisiana!

So Sorry.
We got the snow that’s there now, last Thursday!
I feel the same, except the snowblower is chained to the deck in my yard, not garage!
You have put a visual on paper (?), and I’m feeling the same way.
Enough already!
The snow, not you!
Hi, Andy, Sorry it took so long too answer. I was hibernating under the covers when I saw all this snow. And it`s still coming down. This
was very colorful for such a dreary day. Thanks for the up-lift. Keep writing, you are a natural. I am your biggest fan.
