Ariens 1024 snowblower Problem
I want to slow down my snowblowers travel speed.
Either a drive pully change or gear ratio.
Can this be done?
I have the foreward arm adjusted to the slowest length and setting (any further I go in rev.) and it still moves very quickly. It has a 6 sp tranny and I’m always in 1st. I’d like norm to be 3rd and be able to go up and down from there.

you probably need to change the drive disc. take off the bottom dust cover and tip the blower forward onto the blower housing you will see the disc looks like a small rubber tire. contact me if your interested in repair procedure or take to your dealer ps if you contact me give full model and serial

the drive belt is probably loose
