Ariens 1024 snowblower transmission is not working properly. Any help?

It seems like the transmission is not sending enough power to the rear wheels. The speed is slowing down dramatically.

Can this be fixed easily

    you probably need to change the drive disc. take off the bottom dust cover and tip the blower forward onto the blower housing you will see the disc looks like a small rubber tire. contact me if your interested in repair procedure or take to your dealer ps if you contact me give full model and serial
    I have all info(retired dealer)

    the drive belt is probably loose
